Biography

Nolan McPherson is a ceramic artist based in Durango, Colorado, whose work explores human interaction and routine. Currently pursuing a BA in Art K-12 Education and Studio Art at Fort Lewis College, he also has experience working with Lorna Meaden and the Carbondale Clay Center as well as their various associated artists. Nolan has exhibited his ceramics and other artworks at NCECA, Studio& and the Fort Lewis College Art Gallery. His process emphasizes the uniqueness of each piece, fostering a tangible connection between the user and the artwork. As an educator and artist, he contributes to the artistic community through teaching and technical expertise. His work serves as a vessel of comfort and shared human experience.
